  • Toronto based HandMaiden; maker of household gloves wanted a graceful package design. Their gloves are made for women and needed to appeal to that market specifically. In this case, the package desperately needed to be set apart from the competitors to portray a feeling of dainty gloves for women.

  • We knew right away that we were going to need to put these to the test up against other brands of popular household gloves. After offering several design options for consideration, we developed various graphical point of purchase shelves loaded with competitor’s packaging along with Handmaidens. Bolt then proceeded to get market feedback as to which products stood out, and which packages most likely portrayed the feeling of women’s dainty gloves. The results yielded that the colored women’s hands were the perfect fit.
